Stephen Steel, the owner and founder of Zingela and East Cape 3D is passionate about archery and has put much of his time, effort and finances into the sport. Stephen has probably been one of the biggest contributors to the sport of 3D archery in the Eastern Cape and through the years has become a "legend" in his own right. Stephen is the ABO representative for the Eastern Cape area and has competed in many 3D competitions, the latest being the ABO National Championships in Pretoria where he was crowned the Mens Traditional National ABO champion for 2009 as well as qualifying for his National colours in the sport. Being a PH, He also has a vast knowledge of the compound bow and has hunted successfully with both the traditional and compound bow respectively. Stephen is much supported by his wife, Wendy, who has also played a huge roll in promoting the sport of 3D archery. Wendy handles most of the administration and puts much of her effort and time into the cubs & junior archers doing fun shoots and hands-on training
